Hanging on to a three point lead with 1:38 left and facing fourth and six on the Georgia 48 yard-line, West Virginia Head Coach Rich Rodriguez called for a fake punt that punter Phil Brady carried for 10-yards and a first down, enabling the Mountaineers to run out the clock and win its first January bowl game since 1948.
